Fiddlehead Puff Recipe

Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fiddleheads
  • 1 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese


Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 325 F.
2. Butter 1 1/2 long casserole dish.
3. Beat baking mix, milk, eggs and salt with hand beater until smooth.
4. Stir in fiddleheads and cheese.
5. Pour into baking dish and bake for about 1 hour, until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean.
