Butterfish with Lemongrass Recipe

Serves 4


  • 1 tbsp veg oil
  • 2 pounds butterfish or other fillets
  • 1 1/2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp thin sliced fresh lemongrass
  • 1 fresh jalapeno, chopped
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 1/2 cup water


1. Heat oil in frying pan on medium Add fish and then other ingred.
2. Simmer uncovered 10 min, spooning pan juices over fish frequently.
