Baked Sea Trout with Key Limes Recipe

Serves 4


  • 2 lbs sea trout filets, skinned
  • Pepper to taste
  • Paprika
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 fresh Key limes, sliced
  • 1 to 2 Key limes, quartered
  • Serve with:
  • Fresh limes, quartered


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Put filets in greased shallow baking dish.
3. Sprinkle filets with pepper and paprika.
4. Dot with butter.
5. Place lime slices over filets.
6. Bake for about 30 minutes or until fish is white and flaky, but not over-baked.
7. Serve with lime quarters.
