Bahama Fried Fish Recipe

Serves 4


  • 3 lb fresh fish fillets
  • Lemon
  • Pepper
  • Garlic
  • Salt
  • 1 cup pancake mix
  • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Peanut oil


1. Preheat electric skillet to 350 degrees.
2. Cut fish in bite-sized pieces.
3. Lightly sprinkle with lemon pepper and garlic salt.
4. Combine pancake mix and bread crumbs in a paper bag.
5. Dip fish in water and egg mixture.
6. Shake fish in bag to coat with crumbs.
7. Fry in oil for 7 minutes, or until golden brown, turning once.
8. Serve immediately.
