Stewed Fresh Breakfast Figs Recipe

Serves 4

Try adding 3/4 cup of finely chopped dried figs to your basic waffle recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 12 fresh figs, peeled
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups water


Instructions:

1. Add peeled figs to boiling syrup and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
2. Serve with cream.
