Vegetable Broth Recipe

Serves 3

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups tomato juice, or V-8
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 2/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, or more, minced
  • 2 large onions, chopped, or flakes
  • 1 tbsp basil


  • Instructions:

    1. Place all the ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil.
    2. Reduce heat, cofer pot, and simmer for 3 hours.
    3. Strain mixture if you prefer a clear broth, if you leave vegetables in broth, you have a simple vegetable soup. Serve hot.
