Pumpkin Fritters Recipe

Makes a dozen doughnuts

Ingredients:

  • 1 well beaten egg
  • 2 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp baking powder


Instructions:

1. In a bowl beat together everything but baking powder.
2. Stir in baking powder.
3. Drop batter by tablespoon into hot deep fat.
4. Fry fritters until they are golden brown; drain.
5. Serve with ham or crisp bacon.
