Tipsy Sweet Potatoes Recipe

Serves 6 to 8

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
  • 4 tbsp butter, soft
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed, light brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/3 cup Jack daniel's whiskey
  • Pecan halves, or marshmallows for topping


Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Combine all ingredients except topping.
3. Spoon into a greased 1-quart casserole.
4. Top with pecan halves or marshmallows.
5. Bake 20 minutes, until bubbly.
6. Makes 6 to 8 servings, but be careful, everyone will want seconds!
