Pea Soup Recipe

Serves 6

Per Serving: 409 Calories; 8 g Fat (18% calories from fat); 9 g Protein; 76 g Carbohydrate; 26 mg Cholesterol; 106 mg Sodium

Ingredients:

  • 1 can peas
  • 3 cups water, cold
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 onion slice
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Salt
  • Pepper


Instructions:

1. Place peas and liquid in kettle.
2. Add 3 cups cold water.
3. Simmer 15 minutes.
4. Rub through sieve.
5. Re-heat.
6. Add flour and butter.
7. Scald milk with onion in it.
8. Add to above.
9. Season and serve.
