Roasting Corn Recipe

Serves 8

Ingredients:

  • 8 fresh corn husks left, intact
  • Water, for moistening husks
  • 1 butter or margarine
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp chile powder, to taste


Instructions:

1. Prepare a medium hot fire (the same as for cooking steaks).
2. Dampen the husks and, if desired, wrap in foil.
3. Grill for 15 to 20 minutes, turning to roast both sides.
4. When ready to serve, remove husks and coat with butter, lime juice, salt and chile powder to taste.
