Cornmeal Pancakes Recipe

Serves 5 to 6

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup milk


Instructions:

1. Pour boiling water over cornmeal.
2. Add (sugar), salt.
3. Let cool.
4. Stir in beaten eggs and oil.
5. In seperate bowl mix flour and baking powder.
6. Add to cornmeal alternately with the milk.
7. Beat until smooth.
8. Cook on hot griddle.
