Corn Roasted with Herb Butter Recipe

Serves 6


  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 tbsp minced parsley
  • 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 1/2 tbsp minced green onion
  • 1/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt and pepper
  • Dash of Tabasco sauce
  • Dash of Worcestershire sauce


1. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
2. Spread each ear of corn with 1 tablespoon of herb butter.
3. Wrap each ear in foil.
4. Roast corn on barbeque or broil 4 inches from heat for 30 minutes or until kernels are tender.
5. Unwrap, detach husks and spread with remaining butter.
