Brown Buttered Corn with Basil Recipe

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cup fresh corn (cut from 3 ears)
  • 1/2 cup finely shredded fresh basil, leaves


Instructions:

1. In a skillet heat the butter over moderately high heat until the foam subsides, and in it saute the corn, stirring, for 4 minutes, or until it is browned partially.
2. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the basil an salt and pepper to taste.
