No-Work Salmon Chowder Recipe
Serves 4 Ingredients: 1 15 1/2-oz can salmon, or 2 7-oz cans tuna packed in water
1 10-oz pk frozen corn kernels, thawed
2 14 1/2-oz cans Italian-style stewed, tomatoes
2 8-oz pks clam juice
1/2 cup long-grain white rice
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt, to taste
3 drops Tabasco sauce
Instructions: 1. Drain salmon.
2. Combine with corn kernels, stewed tomatoes, clam juice, rice and garlic powder in a medium-size saucepan and bring to boil over medium heat.
3. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, until rice is tender and flavors blend, about 20 minutes.
4. Season to taste with salt and Tabasco.
