L'Hootz F'Tadjeen Recipe
Serves 4 Ingredients: 1 lb white fish, cut in chunks
1 cup onion, sliced
1 tsp lacama (see recipe)
1 cup potatoes, diced
1 cup carrots, diced
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sweet red pepper
1 cup tomatoes, cubed
1/2 tsp saffron
1/2 cup olive oil, heated
1 red pepper, sliced Instructions: 1. Layer all ingredients.
2. Pour over the hot oil.
3. Top with the pimento.
4. Simmer slowly for about 3/4 hour. Do not mix.
5. Serve hot, with drops of lemon juice.
