Steamed Cod Recipe
Serves 1 Ingredients: 3 oz cod (or favorite fish)
Lemon juice
Lettuce leaf, softened in
Boiling water
Salt and pepper (use bay leaves or oregano for a little more spice)
Instructions: 1. Cut cod; sprinkle with a little salt and pepper.
2. Squeeze lemon juice over fish, then wrap in lettuce leaf.
3. Squeeze more lemon juice over the top if desired.
4. Steam for 10 minutes in 1 cup of water.
5. Serve with fresh tossed salad or tomato slices.
6. Makes a nice change for the dieter.
