Crawfish Fritters Recipe

Serves 6

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup crawfish tails
  • 1/4 cup pimientos, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp liquid crab boil
  • 1/2 cup broth or water
  • Oil for frying


  • Instructions:

    1. Add pimientos and green onions to crawfish.
    2. Sift flour, baking soda and salt together and add to crawfish.
    3. Add broth or water and mix to make a thick batter.
    4. Cover and let rest for 1/2 hour.
    5. Heat oil.
    6. Drop batter by spoonsful and fry until golden brown.
