Sauteed Soft-Shelled Crab Recipe
Serves 3 Ingredients: 3 soft shelled crabs
5 tsp butter
1 tsp oil
2 tsp pecans
Instructions: 1. Prepare the crabs by removing the eyes, dead-men (spongy grey gills), and sand sack.
2. Heat 3 tablespoons of the butter and the oil in a heavy skillet until hot and sizzling.
3. Add the crabs.
4. Saute a few minutes on each side.
5. Remove to a warm plate.
6. Meanwhile, brown the pecans in 1-2 tablespoons butter.
7. Pour over the crabs and serve.
