Maryland-Style Crab Cakes Recipe

Serves 6

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb crab meat
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (preferably homemade)
  • 2 tbsp minced parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 8 tbsp butter


  • Instructions:

    1. Gently blend all ingredients, except the butter.
    2. Shape into 8-10 crab cakes and refrigerate 30 minutes.
    3. Melt butter in a large skillet and saute crab cakes until golden brown on all sides, 5-7 minutes.
    4. Serve with lemon wedges or an appropriate sauce.
