Crabmeat Butter Recipe

Makes 4 cups

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter (do not substitute)
  • 2 lbs cream cheese
  • 2 lbs lump crabmeat
  • 2 or 3 green onions (optional)
  • Dash of cayenne pepper (optional)


  • Instructions:

    1. In double boiler, melt butter and cream cheese.
    2. Fold in crabmeat.
    3. Serve in chafing dish with rounds or chips.
    4. For variety, add 2 or 3 chopped green onions and a dash of cayenne pepper.
