Clams Casino Recipe

Serves 6

Ingredients:

  • 24 cherrystone clams
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced
  • 4 tbsp green pepper, chopped
  • 8 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 6 tbsp seasoned bread crumbs


  • Instructions:

    1. Preheat oven to 450f.
    2. Open clams and discard top shell.
    3. Place clams in a shallow baking pan.
    4. In a saucepan, melt 4 tbsp butter and saute the garlic and green pepper for 2 - 3 minutes.
    5. Add remaining butter, lemon juice, and bread crumbs, mixing thoroughly.
    6. Place 1 teaspoon of mixture on top of each clam and bake for 10 minutes.
