Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe
Serves 8 to 10 Ingredients: 4 lb chicken
3 qt cold water
1 onion, sliced
1 carrot, sliced
1 bay leaf
1 tsp parsley
Salt and pepper
Instructions: 1. Wash and clean chicken carefully; cut in pieces.
2. Cover with the cold water.
3. Add the vegetables and seasoning and let simmer for 3 hours or until chicken is tender.
4. Skim off fat.
5. Remove the chicken and add 2 cups of noodles and cook 15 minutes.
6. Serve hot.
