Pecan Pie Recipe

Serves 8


  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine, melt
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell


1. Mix all ingredients for filling and add pecans last.
2. Pour into pie shell.
3. Bake at 400 F for 15 minutes.
4. Reduce heat to 350 F and bake for 30 to 35 minutes longer.
5. When done, outer edges will be set and center will be slightly soft.
