Kentucky Pecan Pie Recipe

Serves 6


  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar, pack
  • 1/3 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup butter, melt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 heaping cup whole pecans
  • Unbaked 9" pie crust


1. Combine syrup, sugar, salt, butter and vanilla and mix well.
2. Add slightly beated eggs.
3. Pour into unbaked pe shell.
4. Sprinkle pecans over all.
5. Bake in preheated 350` oven for approximately 45 minutes.
6. When cool, you may top with whipped cream or ice cream.
