Creole Pecan Pie Recipe

Serves 8

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup brown sugar, dark,firm packed
  • 1 cup corn syrup, dark
  • 1 cup pecans, broken
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 pie shell, 9", unbaked


  • Instructions:

    1. Beat eggs and sugar together until thick.
    2. Add corn syrup, pecans, vanilla and salt.
    3. Mix well and pour into pie shell.
    4. Bake in preheated 300F oven about 1 hour, or until filling is firm.
