Creole Pecan Pie Recipe
Serves 8 Ingredients: 3 eggs
1 cup brown sugar, dark,firm packed
1 cup corn syrup, dark
1 cup pecans, broken
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 pie shell, 9", unbaked
Instructions: 1. Beat eggs and sugar together until thick.
2. Add corn syrup, pecans, vanilla and salt.
3. Mix well and pour into pie shell.
4. Bake in preheated 300F oven about 1 hour, or until filling is firm.
