Lacy Cookies Recipe

Makes 2 dozen cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almonds, blanched
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tbsp flour, white
  • 2 tbsp milk


Instructions:

1. Insert steel blade in food processor.
2. Process nuts, a half cup at a time, until finely ground.
3. Combine with remaining ingredients in a small saucepan and stir and blend over moderate heat until butter is melted.
4. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased and floured baking sheet.
5. Bake in a preheated 350F oven 6 to 8 minutes.
6. Remove carefully with a spatula to a rack to cool.
