Spicy Italian Patties Recipe

Serves 4

Per Patty and 1/4 Cup Sauce: 211 Calories.

Ingredients:

  • 1 8-oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 large clove garlic minced
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 lb ground turkey, raw



  • Instructions:

    1. Combine tomato sauce, 1 tsp Italian seasoning and 1/8 tsp salt in a small saucepan.
    2. Cover and cook over medium heat until hot; set aside and keep warm.
    3. Combine turkey, garlic, remaining 1 tsp Italian seasoning, fennel seeds, pepper and 1/8 tsp salt. Stir until blended.
    4. Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into 1/2" thick patties.
    5. Coat a large non-stick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium heat until hot.
    6. Add patties and cook about 9 min or until done, turning once.
    7. Place patties on a serving platter; top with sauce.
