Marinated Turkey Breast Recipe

Serves 6

Ingredients:

  • 5 pounds turkey breast
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) Natural Goodness chicken broth
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary leaves, crushed
  • 1 tsp dried thyme leaves, crushed
  • 1/8 tsp pepper


  • Instructions:

    1. Rinse turkey with cold water and pat dry.
    2. Mix broth, rosemary, thyme, and pepper in a large deep nonmettallic dish.
    3. Add turkey and turn to coat.
    4. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours, turning turkey occasionally.
    5. Remove turkey from marinade and place meat-side up on a rack in shallow roasting pan.
    6. Insert meat thermometer into thickest part of meat not touching the bone.
    7. Roast at 350 for 1 3/4-2 1/2 hours or until thermometer reads 170, basting occasionally with marinade.
    8. Begin checking doneness after 1 1/2 hours roasting time.
    9. Allow turkey to stand 10 minutes before slicing.
