Tandoori Chicken Recipe

Serves 6 to 8

Ingredients:

  • 6-8 chicken breasts, skinned, and boned
  • 16 oz nonfat yogurt
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp curry powder



  • Instructions:

    1. Place chicken in baking dish.
    2. Pierce in several places.
    3. Set aside.
    4. Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl.
    5. Pour over chicken, coating well.
    6. Cover and chill 2 hours to overnight.
    7. Preheat broiler.
    8. Broil chicken pieces 5-6 inches from heat, turning occasionally, approximately 6 minutes per side, until cooked through.
