Garlic Chicken Fillets in Balsamic Vinegar Recipe
Serves 4 Ingredients: 2 lbs chicken breast halves, boneless and skinned
1/2 cup flour
2 tsp olive oil
6 to 8 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken stock
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
Black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
Instructions: 1. Dredge chicken in flour; remove excess.
2. In large heavy non-stick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
3. Cook chicken on each side for 2 to 3 minutes, or until golden.
4. Add stock, vinegar and pepper.
5. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and cook for 5 to 10 minutes or until chicken is tender.
6. Remove chicken from skillet and keep warm.
7. In small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in water, stirring until smooth.
8. Add to skillet and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring, until thick and smooth.
9. Pour over chicken and serve.
