Garlic Chicken Breasts Recipe

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp snipped chives, or parsley
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 6 small chicken breast halves
  • 3 cups cornflakes, crushed
  • 2 tbsp parsley, snipped
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk



  • Instructions:

    1. Mix butter, chives or parsley, and garlic powder; shape into rectangle.
    2. Cover and freeze until firm, about 30 minutes.
    3. Flatten each chicken breast to 1/4-inch thickness between waxed paper or plastic wrap.
    4. Cut butter into 6 pieces.
    5. Place 1 piece on center of each chicken breast.
    6. Fold long sides over butter; fold ends up and secure with toothpick.
    7. Mix cereal, parsley, paprika, and garlic powder.
    8. Dip chicken breast into buttermilk; then coat with cereal mixture.
    9. Place chicken breasts, seam side down, in greased pan.
    10. Cook uncovered in a 425 F for 35 minutes.
