Chicken Paprikash Recipe
Serves 6 Ingredients: 1 chicken, cut up, aproximately 3 lb
1/4 cup butter (or margarine), melted
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup flour, all-purpose
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp paprika
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can chicken broth
2 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
8 oz noodles, medium
Instructions: 1. Lightly brown chicken in butter in a skillet; remove and set aside.
2. Saute onion in pan drippings until tender; blend in lfour, salt, paprika, and pepper.
3. Cook over low heat until bubbly.
4. Gradually add chicken broth; cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened.
5. Remove from heat; stir in sour cream and Worcestershire sauce.
6. Cook noodles according to package instructions; drain.
7. Combine noodles and half of sour cream sauce; spoon into a shallow 2 quart casserole.
8. Top with chicken; pour remaining sauce over chicken.
9. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
