Baked Chicken Recipe

Serves 8

Ingredients:

  • 8 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup white or rose wine
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • Salt and pepper
  • Pinch rosemary
  • Pinch oregano
  • Pinch thyme
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 4 fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 cup tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp butter or margarine


  • Instructions:

    1. Combine flour with salt, rosemary, oregano, thyme, paprika, and pepper.
    2. Dust chicken with seasoned flour and brown in olive oil and butter.
    3. Place in baking dish and add tomatoes, wine, chicken broth, garlic powder, fresh basil, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
    4. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until chicken is fork tender and brown.
