101 Garlic Chicken Recipe

Serves 20


  • 10 whole chicken breasts split, boned and skinned
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 cups champagne
  • 101 unpeeled cloves fresh garlic


1. Place chicken in ungreased baking pan, 12 x 16 or 18 inches.
2. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and pour champagne over.
3. Place garlic cloves around and between chicken pieces.
4. Cover pan with foil.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
6. Remove chicken to large seving platter and place garlic around chicken.
7. Tell guests to suck the garlic out of its skin. It is deliciously sweet.
