Jellied Beef Broth Recipe

Serves 6

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup concentrated meat broth
  • 2 cup boiling water
  • 2 tsp gelatin
  • 1/2 bay leaf
  • 1 clove
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp cold water
  • 1 tsp celery salt


  • Instructions:

    1. Combine broth, water, bay leaf, clove, celery salt, and Worcestershire sauce.
    2. Season to taste.
    3. Simmer 10 minutes.
    4. Strain.
    5. Add gelatin which has been softened in cold water.
    6. Stir until dissolved.
    7. Pour into bouillon cups.
    8. Chill until firm.
    9. Garnish with chopped parsley.
