Grand Marnier Mousse Recipe

Serves 6

Ingredients:

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream, beaten lightly
  • 1 oz Grand Marnier
  • Berry sauce:
  • 1 10-oz pkg frozen strawberries
  • 1 10-oz pkg frozen raspberries
  • Grand marnier, to taste


  • Instructions:

    1. Beat egg yolks and sugar with butter.
    2. Fold in cream.
    3. Add Grand Marnier and pour into small ramekins or dessert glasses.
    4. Freeze for at least 1 hour.
    5. Serve with dollop of whipped cream sprinkled with chocolate shavings.
    6. To make Berry Sauce: Drain excess juices from frozen berries after defrosting.
    7. Puree in blender until smooth.
    8. Add Grand Marnier to taste.
    9. Pass sauce with the mousse.
