Fresh Mint Chutney Recipe

Makes 1 1/2 cups

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup finely chopped fresh mint leaves
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper


  • Instructions:

    1. Combine the mint leaves, onion and lemon juice in the container of an electric blender.
    2. If a blender is not available, chop fine with a sharp knife.
    3. Add seasonings and blend fifteen seconds or mix well with a spoon.
    4. Chill and serve.
