Cream of Wheat Pancakes Recipe

Serves 6

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups pancake mix
  • 3 cups cream of wheat
  • 4 cups milk, 1% lowfat
  • 6 egg
  • 12 tsp vegetable oil
  • Vegetable cooking spray
  • Topping:
  • 2 (8 oz) containers nonfat yogurt, any flavor
  • 2 tbsp honey


Instructions:

1. Spray griddle with cooking spray.
2. In bowl, combine pancake mix and cereal.
3. Blend milk, egg and vegetable oil; stir into cereal mixture.
4. Pour scant 1/4 c batter onto hot griddle for each pancake.
5. Cook until bubbly, turn and cook until goldern brown.
6. Repeat with remaining batter.
7. Serve topped with yogurt mixed with honey. If desired top with fruit.
