Oatmeal Pancakes Recipe

Serves 10

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup quick cooking oats or old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp whole wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil


Instructions:

1. In blender, process dry ingredients until oat flakes are fine; transfer to medium bowl.
2. Mix liquid ingredients lightly in small bowl;add to dry ingredients.
3. Stir only until dry ingredients are moistened.
4. Let stand 5 minutes.
5. Preheat griddle.
6. Bake on hot griddle, turning with spatula when edges get firm.
7. Makes 10 medium pancakes.
