Lumberjack Pancakes Recipe

Makes 9 pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups old fashioned or quick oats, uncooked
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup Parkey margarine, melted
  • Kraft strawberry preserves, or grape jelly, heated


Instructions:

1. Combine dry ingredients.
2. Add eggs, milk and margarine; mix well.
3. For each pancakes, pour 1/2 cup batter into hot, greased griddle.
4. Cook over medium heat until bubbles form or surface.
5. Turn; brown on other side.
6. Spread with additional margarine; top with preserve.
