Garbanzo-Oat Waffles Recipe
Serves 2 Ingredients: 1 cup AM oat flakes
1/2 cup AM garbanzo flour
1 1/4 cup water
1 tbsp AM unrefined vegetable oil
2 tsp honey
1/4 tsp (or more) sea salt (optional)
1/2 tsp non-alum baking powder
Instructions: 1. Preheat waffle iron.
2. Place oatmeal in blender.
3. Grind into coarse flour.
4. Add all remaining ingredients. Blend.
5. Let sit a few minutes.
6. Blend again for 2 seconds.
7. Pour into hot, well-oiled waffle iron.
8. Bake 5 to 8 minutes.
Variation:
Replace 1/4 cup water with 1 egg.
