Acorn Squash with Apple Stuffing Recipe - Printable Version Serves 4
- 2 acorn squash
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 2 medium cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- Butter or margarine
1. Preheat oven 350 degrees.
2. Halve squash lengthwise. Remove seeds and fibers, and dust lightly with salt.
3. Add sugar and cinnamon to apples and fill squash cavities with mixture.
4. Dot with butter.
5. Bake for 1 hour.
