Sherried Baked Fruit Recipe

Serves 20

Ingredients:

  • 40 oz canned pineapple chunks
  • 20 oz canned sliced freestone peaches
  • 17 oz can apricots, sliced
  • 16 oz pitted bing cherries, or blueberries
  • 30 oz canned spiced apple ring
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sherry


  • Instructions:

    1. Heat oven to 350 F.
    2. Drain fruit.
    3. Arrange in layers in a 3-quart baking dish.
    4. Melt butter.
    5. Add flour and stir until well blended.
    6. Add brown sugar and sherry.
    7. Cook until thick.
    8. Pour over fruit.
    9. Bake for 30 minutes.
