Fruity Golden Waffles Recipe

Serves 12

125 calories, 1.8 grams fat per waffle.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup whole-wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup chopped dates or raisins
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 5 cup water


Instructions:

1. Mix the oats, flour, dates, raisins or honey, and salt in a large bowl.
2. Add the water to make a batter.
3. Pour the batter into a blender in batches until the consistency is smooth. (Or process all at once in a food processor.)
4. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes in a waffle iron set on high.
