Dried Pear Chips Recipe - Printable Version Serves 8
- 2 pears
- 1 cup simple syrup (1 to 1 sugar and water)
1. Wash fruit and slice very thin on an electric meat slicker.
2. Dip slices in simple syrup then lay on a parchment lined sheet pan.
3. Place in a 200 degree convection oven for 40-60 minutes, until dried out.
4. While still hot, peel slices off paper.
5. Cool completely on a wire rack.
6. Store in an airtight container.
