Orange Sugar Cookies Recipe

Makes 40 cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup margarine, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp grated orange peel
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Egg Beaters 99% Real Egg Product
  • Additional sugar (optional)

    • Instructions:

    1. In small bowl, combine flour and baking soda; set aside.
    2. In medium bowl with electric mixer at medium speed, beat margarine, 1 cup sugar, orange peel and vanilla until creamy.
    3. Add egg product; beat until smooth.
    4. Gradually stir in flour mixture utnil blended.
    5. Cover; chill dough 1 hour.
    6. Shape dough into 42 (3/4") balls; roll in additional sugar if desired.
    7. Place on lightly greased baking sheets, about 2" apart.
    8. Bake at 375'F.
    9. for 8-10 minutes or until light golden brown.
    10. Remove from sheets; cool on wire racks.
