Angel Pie Recipe
Instructions:1. Separate eggs.
2. Beat whites very stiff with cream of tartar, adding 1 cup sugar gradually.
3. Pile in greased pie plate.
4. Make a hollow in center.
5. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 hour.
6. Beat 4 egg yolks; add 1/2 cup sugar, lemon juice and rind.
7. Cook in double boiler until thick. Cool.
8. Whip 1/2 pint heavy cream.
9. When filling is cooled, put half of whipped cream in shell.
10. Add filling and top with remaining cream. Chill.
