Burnt Grapes Recipe
Serves 6
The caramel sauce gets hard and crunchy and is a lovely contrast to the creamy fruit mixture.
Ingredients: 4-5 cups seedless red or green grapes (or substitute fresh raspberries, blackberries, sliced peaches, etc.)
2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
Instructions: 1. Wash and dry grapes.
2. Mix sour cream, sugar and vanilla together.
3. Pour cream mixture over grapes and stir gently.
4. Pour into a 9x13 pan, or individual serving dishes.
5. In a saucepan, bring butter and brown sugar to a boil. Immediately pour over grapes. Don't stir.
6. Chill for 3-4 hours.
