Lady Apple Fruit Wreath Recipe
Serves 6
Ingredients: 16 oz jar whole spiced crabapples, drained
3 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
1-2 tsp milk
2-3 drops red food coloring
1/3 cup chopped, toasted pecans
Bunch parsley or watercress
Instructions: 1. In small bowl, combine cream cheese, milk and food coloring.
2. Mix until smooth and creamy.
3. Frost each apple, using scant teaspoonful of cheese mixture, half-way up sides, covering bottom of apple.
4. Dip bottoms of apples in chopped pecans.
5. Arrange apples in wreath of parsley or watercress.
